The Simpsons Movies

This is my special edition DVD. It's going to be about the Simpsons movie.  Mine is going to be 3 parts (Movie 1, 2, and 3 even though 2 and 3 don't exist yet). It's going to be in an 8 panel DigiPack with the o-ring cover. The cover is going to have bart stealing homer's money; when you take out the cover, the front panel reveals barts being strangled by homer. Hope it works.

The simpson's DVD.

This is my idea for the special edition dvd. I'm doing it on the simpsons. The front cover is going to feature Bart stealing homer's money, and when you remove the case (o-ring), it reveals homer chocking bart for stealing his money.

Revised digital Comp.

Here's my second attempt. I'm actually including animated fruits hoping that this would actually attract kids. From the first comp, I reduced the fonts to two, and these are the ones that looks very childish. I still haven't found the perfect bottle, but these ones are pretty close to it. Let me know what you think of it. I appreciate your comments.

First Comp.

What I am doing here is basically trying different typefaces and see which ones work best for calling children's attention. Everybody seemed to agree on typeface of the the fourth bottle. As far as the bottles, I haven't found an ideal bottle for kids. I'll keep looking for one.

#1 Thumbnails

In an attempt to make water popular among kids, I designed this new bottles of water. I am making this bottles smaller, trying to make them look kind of cute to call kids' attention. Also, I'm making them easier for the kids to hold them because kids have small hands. Regarding the logo, I'm trying different fonts (serif and sans serif, even a cursive one) to see which one works best.

Bad Packaging

One good example of bad packaging is the meat company. Most of the companies prefer just to package their meat on a tray and wrap plastic on them. That's not helpful for us the consumers because we don't use all the meat to cook. Once you unseal the package, you have to put the meat into different ziploc bags which is annoying to do; otherwise your fridge gets smelly.

The box of this cereal korn flakes is good; the problem with this is the bag inside that holds the cereals. Once they are open, you cannot close them. You have to roll the bag or use some kind of chip clip to close it to avoid termites to get into the bag or to keep them safe. One good solution I find for this is if the company replaces this bag with a ziploc one.

This smirnoff six pack packaging is really bad. It is very fragile. One time I was at the liquor store and I saw when a person grab this six pack and they handles just ripped because of the weight of the bottles. Those bottles fell on the floor and some of them broke. I wouldn't like that to happen to me.

Good Packaging

I like this little bottle of scope. It is desing to carry it in your pocket because it is really small and I love that. I always carry one in my pocket because I spend most of the time outside of my house (school and work) and for me it is essential to maintain a good and fresh breath.

This gogurt packaging is such a great idea, especially for kids. There's a lot of kids in my house and they love to grab these gogurts from the fridge on their way to school. It eliminates the need to use a spoon which kids love.

I really like this Mac Book Pro Box. Besides protecting my lap top, the box serves as a decorative item. I kept my box and I have it in my room because it looks great.
